Rhyl golf club is known in the area as the best priced course for quality golf. Rhyl Golf Course is a 9 hole (18 tee) challenging links with large fairways but tight, well guarded greens which will challenge golfers of all standards. The par 71 course (off the white tees) provides a test for any golfer.

Not only are our green fees the cheapest but, we also boast a course that is open 365 days a year (only subject to the severest of weather conditions). We don't do temporary greens (because we don't need to - our Green-keeper is very good!) and the fairways are very well drained, ensuring that your round is unimpaired. The true test is the nature of the links course; the sea breeze and the excellent greens will be a true test of your golfing ability.

Favourite hole: 6th: This par 4 "dog-leg" has had a number of hole in ones!

Toughest hole: 9th: This long hole feels even longer when the wind blows at you!

Easiest hole: 7th: You should get a par 3 on this every time - mind the sand!

Best green: 2nd: Get it right and it's easy, the line depends upon your 2nd shot in!

Longest driver: 17th: From the back tee but, avoid the Out of Bounds!

Birdiest hole: 4th: Good drive, long wood and a nice chip for a birdie put!

Bunker to avoid: 3rd: Deep one and will catch you more than you'd like!

Membership Subscriptions 1st October 2009 – 31st March 2011
As passed at the EGM on Friday 28th August 2009 the membership year will, in future, run from 1st April to 31st March each year. The subscriptions agreed by the Council for the period of  1st October 2009 to 31st March 2011  are as below (these include Welsh Golf Union fees and Flintshire Golf Union fees).

Cash in full, cheque in full, 6 x quarterly cheques all submitted together by 1st October 2009, 18 x monthly cheques submitted together (this option is subject to an administration fee of £30). Payment by Credit card will be subject to a 3% charge.

All players must display proof of membership at ALL times on the course e.g. bag tag or green fee ticket.

Family Membership category – discount of £15 per member when two or more immediate members of a family join the club. (applies to Full Members only)

At the time of renewing your subscriptions please ensure you check with the Secretary that your personal details are up to date.

All members are reminded of the importance of having adequate golf insurance please check that you are covered You may be asked to prove that you are covered – DO NOT take it for granted that your household insurance covers you for liability on the golf course!
